Law school and disappointments

I have applied to law school.  One law school.  I am not exactly sure how disappointed I will be when I don't get in, for I am fairly certain that I won't get in.  And then it'll be another year of watching reruns of Becker and eating spinach on my couch.  

Does anyone else pour through friends Facebook pages, MySpace, LinkedIn and so forth, trying to figure out who is happiest, most successful?  Or am I just very shallow.  

I am not sure when I hear from the law school.  Probably in a month or so.  I am trying to convince myself that I can forget about it until then, so that when the rejection comes, it will feel like nothing.
